About the Essex Region:

It is a hub for logistics and distribution through both London Stansted and London Southend Airports, and major ports at DP World London Gateway and The Port of Tilbury, which form the Thames Freeport, and Harwich, which is part of Freeport East.
The Essex Chambers of Commerce are one of 53 UK Chambers accredited through the British Chambers of Commerce. We operate countywide from two hubs located in Colchester and Southend-on-Sea, with one satellite office in Harlow, providing support to businesses both large and small.
International trade is very much a key area of our support for businesses. We pride ourselves on being the pivotal organisation that supports local businesses in their pursuit of international trade and growth. Through a suite of services, policy representation and strategic initiatives, the Chamber plays a critical role in enhancing Essex’s economic landscape. We have connections to all the major logistics hubs in the county and are also involved in strategic initiatives aimed at long-term regional development such as the Sizewell C nuclear plant.
