The British Embassy and the British Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce would like to invite you to a semiconductor and electronics study visit to Scotland on 23-27 March 2025.
Join us for a visit to the centre of semiconductors and electronics research in the UK – Scotland. Located between Edinburgh and Glasgow, the region has deservedly been called the Silicon Glen, is known for its concentration of high-tech industries. This area highlights the evolution of Scotland’s economy from historical industrial activities to modern technological advancements.
During the visit we will share UK experience and knowledge in policies and programmes for semiconductors and electronics. We aim to forge industry and academic contacts as well as policy dialogue to help Bulgaria revive its strengths in semiconductors and electronics, with the UK as the right partner. This visit is a follow-up from the Semiconductors & microelectronics high-level roundtable organised by the British Embassy on 16 th January 2024.
